Naoroji Nursery

In the monsoon of 2020, we initiated a plant nursery propagating wild and threatened plant species from seeds collected within the Rakhal. Among the species are hundreds of saplings of the highly revered and remedial Guggul (Commiphora wightii) - listed on IUCN’s Red List as Critically Endangered.

The nursery is sponsored by the Saros Ardeshar Dadabhoy Naoroji Endowment Fund, and is located next to the heritage structures, near the Pragsar Lake & Orchard. Saplings are planted in the Rakhal and also available for sale.
